Indoor-outdoor flow has become a necessity in contemporary design. The Ellipse Monobloc Awning helps New Zealanders enjoy and enhance courtyards, sheltered retreats and outdoor rooms year-round.

With its classic styling, the Ellipse Monobloc encapsulates simplicity and charm. It also provides a generous area of coverage – a width of up to six metres makes it ideal for lengths of deck and other outdoor areas with plenty of space to cover.

Motorised awnings

Our awnings can be controlled via wired in motors which can be controlled with a remote, a switch or even home automation. 

Motorizing makes its simple to have your awning out and retract back in. Our motion sensors will also safeguard your awning and will self-retract if the winds are getting too high - giving you that comfort of knowing your awning is safe. 

Crank handle awnings

To save on costs, the awning scan be opened and closed via a crank handle operation. This handle can be removed and re-attached as needed so it doesn't affect the look of the simple awning.

Frequently Asked Questions

The awning is built to last, so with our install, we like to do the same. Depending on the surface we like to build a bit of timber 15mm out from your wall so the water can still run down and comply with building codes. We then attach our awning to the piece of timber installed.
While different electricians charge differently and each house is different, we have found the price charged out is roughly between $350 to $600 depending on how easy or difficult it is.
For example, going into weather board and there is already wires running right behind where the awning is installed, this should be around the cheapest. 
We recommend cleaning your fabric with a soft-bristled brush and rinsing with water. For localised stains, clean with a neutral detergent mixed in lukewarm water and rinse. — When used in awnings, it is very important to allow fabric to dry completely before rolling it away. Should it be necessary to roll the awning while the fabric is still damp, it can be dried with air (under no circumstances should hot air be used), although the fabric dries out very quickly thanks to its technical characteristics.
Awnings should be used under supervision only as weather conditions can change quickly.
Retractable awnings should be retracted in periods of high winds and are intended to be used for sun protection. Your awning can only withstand small amounts of rain as long as the pitch is greater than 15°, if not, you could risk pooling in the fabric which can damage your awning.
Do not use a BBQ, other cooking equipment or gas heating under the awning, this can damage the fabric and cause mould/mildew.
Do not roll your awning away when the fabric is wet.
